This cruise was by far the best experience we had in Vietnam. The service is amazing, the amenities are definitely first class and the staff are unforgettable. Our adventure was only made better by the amazing people we met and crew members, especially Ha, who went above and beyond to make this an adventure of a lifetime. We immediately formed a group of friends on the cruise and the crew came to hang out with us only making the adventure better. 100% the best travel experience I’ve ever had.

We did the 3 days, 2 nights on Azalea one boat and found the staff were exceptional in the their professional, friendly approach. Every dietary need to taken into account and all the activities and programs available for guests choosing are great too. The staff interact beautifully with each other and the guests and we left feeling part of the Azalea one family. While all the staff are wonderful we had a special connection with David with his cheeky sense of humour while still remaining professional and taking great care of us. Jennifer ensured the dining area ran like a well oiled machine with every need catered for. Well done Azalea One.

A beautiful way to end out Vietnam trek. The rooms on this cruise are Amazing, service is excellent and the food is to die for. But mostly it is the serenity of this beautiful place that soothes the soul. Extremely relaxing. High recommend.

We booked Azalea after reading their positive reviews. We booked the two night cruise package with Asia Package Travel and throughout the process the communication from Tracy was prompt and helpful. They arrange to pick you up from your hotel in old quarter by a luxury mini-van. The transfer which takes about 2.5 hrs was very comfortable and smooth. The cruise itself was excellent. We were upgraded to their fantastic executive suite with panaromic views which we loved! The cruise boat itself is well maintained, the staff really treats you like family and the food (especially the lunch buffet on the first day) was outstanding. Special shout out to Mr. Bean, Martini and Jayce who took great care of us. Planned activities are scheduled daily- kayaking, visit to Vietnamese village, caves, cat ba national park etc. Sounds hectic but you are free to skip any activity as u like. In the evening daily there is happy hour for drinks followed by a set menu dinner. If you have any dietary requirements let them know in advance and they will happily accommodate you. For the large part the boat sails through not very crowded picturesque waters in Halong Bay but occasionally you do see small bits of rubbish in the water. I also tried the spa - while the massage is ok the rest of the experience isn't great (no dim lights/spa music etc.) Would be wiser to enjoy the lovely views from the sundeck than visit the spa! Our only hiccup in the whole trip was when the driver didn't turn up on the last day to take us to the airport (azalea apologized and gave us a refund for the transfer later). We managed to get another taxi last minute eventually but I would suggest you leave some buffer time to factor in these scenarios as well. That experience apart our whole trip was wonderful and I would definitely recommend Azalea Cruises to anybody wanting a great experience in Halong Bay!

We stayed in the Azalea for two nights and enjoyed every second of it. The staff on board were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were a good size with a great balcony. The day trips were great and the food on the cruise was also out of this world. Happy Hour cocktails were yummy and were very much enjoyed.
